My absolute favorite restaurant in Virginia-- I've gone here countless times with many different people and each time, everyone is delighted. I always order the vegetarian dishes (pad see ew and the green curry). Everything I've tried here has been great. My friend gets the pad thai with chicken and she's just as obsessed.

Sawatdee was a favorite of my husband when he lived on Clarendon several years ago. On a trip to Arlington, we tried this spot for lunch for old times sake. We ordered way too much for lunch but everything was great. The spring rolls were average, the veggie potstickers had a ton of flavor and were fried/seared perfectly. The green curry was good but the veggies inside the curry were so tender and flavorful. The best broccoli I’ve ever had! The drunken noodles had a kick but it was perfect for me since I like spice. I’d definitely come back and try other dishes on their plentiful menu.

I have been to lovely Thailand, and can say with confidence that this is the closest cuisine facsimile as can be found outside of the beautiful kingdom. The duck Curry is sublime, there is singha beer on tap. Well done. Kap kuhn ma krup! ( If you enjoy short and sweet cooking and travel videos please visit cuisineQuest on YouTube!)

Enjoyed my meal. The service was great. You can turn up or turn down the spices. Went with a group of friends. We are and talked for awhile after the meal. No problem. Food was very good. Will go back with or without my friends.

I'm not normally a huge fan of Thai, but this place is absolutely exceptional. From the outside, this place looks very understated. On the inside, it's beautifully decorated, with excellent food presentation. The environment is nice and quiet, great for a date night or meeting (if you care to hear the other person). The soups are bar none the best I've had in any circumstance. The food is delicious and moderate in portion size. Most everything is spicy, but just enough to enhance the flavors. The overall variety and blend of flavors is truly fantastic and complex, and not something easily replicated at home. One of my favorites here is the Sapporo on draft. This is an unusual treat that keeps me coming back. Service is good as well. Always attentive and pleasant and thankfully not too overbearing. Two big thumbs up to Sawatdee. I highly recommend this place, especially for an in-person visit.

Really one of the better Thai restaurants in the area. Great selection as well as classicly seasoned with spice, sweetness, and crunch texture.

A family favorite. We go here frequently because the food is delicious and the service is great. There’s free parking nearby and it’s a warm and comfortable environment. From the many times we’ve gone, we always left happy and satisfied. This time I had kao klook (always pleases), while my son had the Kai klur fried rice. Love this place. I don’t think I’ve ever had something I didn’t completely enjoy. I appreciate there’s plenty of parking nearby and the staff are always friendly, courteous, and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. And the food is delicious. This last time I had the larb chicken and Tom Kha gai. My son had the Kao klook, and wife the summer rolls. I never get tired of this restaurant. There's plenty of nearby parking. The location is great. The staff is friendly. The environment is very comfortable and relaxing. And the food is fantastic. I have no-kidding probably tried at least half of the menu and have never been disappointed. Always walking out with true satisfaction. This last trip my wife had the summer rolls (one of her go-to items), while I had the Tom Kha ga ( so delicious) and the kao klook. The food here is always delicious. The flavor profiles are spot on. The amount of spice or heat is perfect (based on your request). And the portions are just right. If you plan to go, there is a sizable parking lot about two blocks away, and some limited street parking nearby. The service is always great, with friendly and attentive staff. The setting is casual, with different themes in the restaurant. If you bring that someone special, it’s a great date night spot. On this visit I had the Tom Kha ga soup, which is so good, and the yun ner (spicy beef salad), finding this was a perfect meal for me. One of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently delicious. There’s parking relatively nearby which makes it convenient. The service is always very good and the food is consistently delicious. With a nice setting, there’s no reason to not give this place a try. This time I had the pineapple fried rice. My wife had the angel eggplant and son the boat noodle soup. I love their food. Continue to love this place. The food and service are consistently good. As mentioned before, the atmosphere is comfortable and good for hanging out with friends or taking someone on a date. Lighting is good, and there’s parking 150 yards away. This time I’ve tried the sesame green beans (delicious) as an appetizer. For dinner I had the Kai klur fried rice, my wife her favorite (angel eggplant), and son the panang curry. Since finding this place I’ve become a regular. The food is consistently delicious. There’s nearby parking about 150 yards away so not too inconvenient. It’s by the courthouse so be prepared to pay for daytime parking, but the food is worth it. Service is always great and we are made to feel comfortable. The setting is interesting with different themes. Pretty cool. This last time we had pad si ew (good but perhaps could be better), yellow chicken curry (absolutely delicious), and red curry (also so delicious). We’ve gone a times in the last week. Everything has been great. Service. Food. Service. I’ve tried to get something different each time to share my experience. The interior is a bit eclectic but still very warm, comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. The last two days I tried several appetizers and main dishes. All great. The summer rolls, Kao klook, and chicken curry puffs are all fantastic. The moo yang, mango chicken, and angel chicken are all so delicious. Just found this place and so glad I did. There aren’t many parking options but overall not too bad. Food is delicious and service is excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing, comfortable, and yet classy. My wife and I went here after watching a movie and happy to try it. The summer rolls were perfect and had a very good sauce. My wife had the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork belly, and I had the Angel eggplant (oh my gosh so good). This place is a keeper.

Classic Thai restaurant with all the staples. This restaurant is also interesting since they only have one 'spice level' denoted by a chili pepper next to the dish. These dishes have the perfect amount of spice. I really enjoyed the Drunken Noodles, but their curries and Pad See Ew were also delicious. Can't wait to try their duck rolls the next time I go! The restaurant usually isn't too busy with a large interior and outside seating too
